Ever since Marvel's bickering, divorced agents were introduced, I've wanted more of Bobbi Morse and Lance Hunter, and we're about to get it in a big way! Bobbi and Hunter are stowed away on a Hydra plane on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. with Gideon Malick and Russian Delegate Anton Petrov, who as it turns out was working for Hydra all along. How will they escape from behind enemy lines?
The two were almost apprehended in their efforts to discover the mole and then rescue Talbot's son, but wound up in the "belly of the beast" aboard Malick's flight. The bad news is that they're probably being taken to an even more dangerous Hydra location in Russia. The good news is they have a front-row seat to overhear all of Malick's evil plans on the way. For example, what do we think the true purpose of this "Inhuman Free State" or colony is going to be? Do you think theres a chance that they truly want to give powered people a safe place to live? There has to be a catch, and it probably has something to do with Hive.
It'll be fun to see Bobbi and Hunter on an escape mission together. Usually missions with only two people end badly, but I'm not even worried that only one will come back alive. They're definitely going to survive this, because they have an upcoming spin-off series on the horizon. I wonder if this adventure in Hydra will serve as a back-door pilot for Marvel's Most Wanted. This could be an important moment for their characters on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and, knowing Bobbi and Hunter, it's going to be pretty dramatic. Plus, while in Russia, I wouldn't mind some Black Widow and/or Winter Soldier shout-outs — hint hint, Marvel!
