Cadbury Creme Egg Nut Butter Is Here

Probably the biggest sugar high I ever got as a kid came from eating three Cadbury Creme Eggs while unattended at a family Easter Party, and just thinking about how much sugar that is makes me marvel at my younger self. Of course, now it turns out you can spread all that chocolate goodness on toast with new Creme Egg nut butter from Funky Nut Co. Because who says you have to grow up?

From Nutella to Speculoos, sweet-tasting spreads are nothing new, but now Funk Nut Co., a company that specializes in unconventional nut butters and spreads, has decided to raise the bar to a whole new height by introducing their new Cashew Butter with Creme Egg. I am not exaggerating when I say that this is both the strangest and most delicious thing I've heard of all week. Cashews and Cadbury Creme Eggs... it's kind of like a root beer float in that I have no idea how anyone would come up with that, but once you hear it, you're like, "Dude, that sounds amazing."

The nut butter advertises itself as "thick and gooey" with "real chunks of Cadbury Creme Eggs"; it also claimes to be "better than Nutella," which is some pretty bold talk. But then again, have you had a Cadbury Creme Egg recently? Those things are delicious.

"We have tested out recipe and think what we have created here will keep the Easter bunny happy but more important, we think it will keep you grinning," the makers write on their website.

The product is only available for a limited time, though, so Cadbury Creme Egg fans had better snap some up quick. Worst case scenario, though, you can always smash up a few Creme Eggs of your own, add 'em to a dollop of nut butter of your choice, and have at it. What good is food if you can't play with it every now and again?
