From her boundary-pushing styles to her ever-changing beauty looks, she's legitimate perfection, and now she's sharing a bit of that perfection. The Rihanna x Manolo Blahnik collection comes out May 5, way sooner than you may have been anticipating, and just based on the sneak peeks, RiRi isn't going to let anyone down with her latest adventure in fashion. Not that I'd ever expect her to though, to be honest.
Rihanna's fashion history, well, it's been illustrious. From totally slaying everyone in a completely sheer, glittering from to dazzling the crowds in an insane mustard yellow cape dress at the Met Gala, she knows how to make heads turn, and she's going to be doing just that with shoes. This won't be Rihanna's first set of footwear, though. If you're a fan of the "Work" singer, you probably already know about her insanely successful collaboration with Puma. The joint venture debuted and sold, and then sold out again. The creeper-style sneakers were perfectly Rihanna, but they, unfortunately, don't seem like they'll be restocked again until September, almost a year after their original debut. Thankfully, though, the Rihanna x Manolo Blahnik collaboration is here to console you.
The Rihanna x Manolo Blahnik collection will debut May 5, only a few short months away. The collection is set to feature pumps, boots, and sandals all with denim inspirations. The details on the footwear are reportedly influenced by Rihanna's own tattoos making them not just gorgeous but also specific to Rihanna's personal style.
In advanced looks of the collection, you can see that each shoe features a denim blue color but they vary pretty greatly in terms of style and design.
The collection's range could very well be because of Rihanna's diverse collection of tattoos. RiRi is covered in ink, and her tattoos are as varied as her styles. So if her collection with Manolo Blahnik is going to be inspired by them, what can you expect?
Egyptian Inspiration
Rihanna's got more than one Egyptian-inspired tattoo, and it wouldn't come as a surprise if gold details or maybe even feathers appear in the shoe line. After all, she does have an Egyptian falcon around her ankle.
Floral
I doubt Rihanna is going to go hardcore floral. However, her rebelle fleur tattoo could mean that she takes a more edgy approach to florals.
Sparkle
Rihanna's star tattoos may be her most well-known. As such, I'm thinking maybe a little shine could show up.
Henna Inspired Pattern
Rihanna's henna-inspired tattoos are absolutely stunning. I'd love to see this pattern appear on a boot.
Gladiator Sandal
Sure, this may be a bit of a streak, but Rihanna does have Roman numeral tattoos.
Regardless of whether these hypotheses pan out, there's little doubt that the collection is going to be insane.
