Up until this point, it's safe to say Khloé Kardashian's thoughts on her brother Rob's behavior were unclear and confusing. Sure, she posted a cryptic tweet to "never go against the family." Then there was an Instagram quote about getting rid of "toxic people." But around that same time, she shared a throwback photo, saying she missed him. For anyone who hasn't been keeping up with the Kardashians, all of the drama stems from Rob's relationship with Blac Chyna, who happens to be the ex of Kylie Jenner's current boyfriend Tyga. Now, Khloé spoke about Rob at an appearance in Chelsea, NYC and her comments are telling. According to the New York Daily News, she was asked whether she thinks he takes her advice and responded,
I don't think so. God knows who the f*ck he listens to at this point.
Yikes! Is it just me or does that seem like a serious burn? Considering the 28-year-old recently posted an Instagram meme about dropping his family, it makes sense that KoKo could be frustrated with him. Plus, Blac Chyna's BFF Amber Rose previously dissed Kylie, which escalated into Twitter drama with Khloé. (For anyone struggling to follow all this, consult this handy timeline!) But she did say that she's pleased with the progress he's making. The Kocktails With Khloé host added,
He's working on his fitness journey right now. I'm just really happy that he's living this mantra that I preach everyday.
At least there's some positivity thrown in there. She may say Rob doesn't listen to her, but he does seem to be taking her advice and focusing on getting healthy.
Something else that may be adding fuel to the fire is that Rob has been hanging out with her ex-boyfriend, French Montana. The two posted a bizarre video together talking about chicken. Considering Khloé still hangs with French, that shouldn't be too surprising. But since she and Rob no longer live together, it is pretty strange Rob will spend time with his sister's ex, but not his sister.
Although her Instagram indicates that she misses him, it seems to me like she doesn't know what to do about it, given the latest comments. This makes me think that the rift in the family is actually real, and if so, it's pretty sad to think about. She and Rob used to be incredibly close, even acting more like best friends than siblings.
Still, it's worth keeping in mind that Khloé has a history of being the most outspoken among her sisters. She curses like it's nobody's business, so she very well may have been joking with her recent remarks.
Regardless of whether the comments were meant in jest, it sure seems like tension is building. I just want Kris Jenner to channel that red-shirted girl in Mean Girls and make everyone get along ASAP.
