The ladies of the Big Apple are finally back! After what seems like much too long of a hiatus, the Real Housewives of New York City Season 8 trailer is here and ready to reunite fans with Bethenny Frankel, Ramona Singer, LuAnn de Lesseps, Sonja Morgan, Carole Radziwill, and Dorinda Medley. Based on the video below, it remains clear that Sonja is still the best part of the show.
As previously announced, Heather Thomson and Kristen Taekman are not returning, but there is a new face joining the series. Her name is Julianne "Jules" Wainstein. She's a friend of Dorinda's and is a stay-at-home mom of two, Jagger and Rio. She studied at the Fashion Institute of Technology and is now an event planner. Per Bravo, she mainly works for the Women’s International Zionist Organization, "a non-party international movement that raises money for schools and programs for women and the elderly in Israel."
When RHONY returns with new episodes on Wednesday, April 6 at 9 p.m., not only will viewers be introduced to Jules, but they will see Dorinda and Ramona going at it, Luann getting engaged, Dorinda's relationship with John Mahdessian being scrutinized, and Carole and Luann still on opposite sides, among many other dramatic and typical Housewives moments.
Of course, there is Sonja, who continues to be all-around amazing, especially with her one-liners, like these.
"I sage my kitchen for demons. You don't do that?"
This is what Sonja tells LuAnn, who, of course, just doesn't understand the words coming out of Sonja's mouth.
"If you have another drink, they'll look better."
LuAnn complains that there are no cute guys around, but Sonja assures her this is the best way to find attractive ones.
"I look in the mirror and I was like, 'Who's that? Oh my god, it's me. I hate this b*tch.'"
And that's what Sonja tells Dorinda. *facepalm*
