How To Grow An Asymmetrical Bob
Want to up your spring hair game? With the help of experts, you can learn how to grow an asymmetrical bob that will be 100 percent #flawless. With a little patience, you'll be rocking this look in no time.
ProRituals' Creative Director, Terrence Michael Renk, broke down the details of mastering this look. "The hardest part of achieving this bob," he says, "is growing out the initial length. The first thing to do when wanting to achieve an asymmetrical bob is to start letting one side of your hair grow out without having to chop the other side off."
Fortunately, Renk has some solid tips for keeping your hair looking hot while you wait for it to grow. "In this transition period, I recommend styling the hair in braids along the scalp on the long side, going away from the face while you let this side continue to grow." Fierce, no?
But if braids aren't your thing, he also has a few more suggestions. "You can also use barrettes to pull back the longer side. Once short side has grown out enough to achieve the look, have your stylist start balancing out the lengths gradually.”
