Saoirse Ronan's 2016 Oscars Dress Is Stunning
I've been obsessed with this actor since I saw her fairly brief but oh so memorable turn in The Grand Budapest Hotel, and now she's taking over the silver screen. Saoirse Ronan is at the 2016 Oscars tonight to celebrate her Best Actress nomination for her role in the film Brooklyn, and of course she's killing it on the style front. Ronan actually attended the Academy Awards for the first time in 2008 when she was only 13 years old, wearing a gorgeous bright green, lace-trimmed gown. She's certainly come a long way since that year, when she was nominated for Best Supporting Actress for the movie Atonement, but one thing has stayed the same — she slays in the color green!
Tonight she's rocking a dark green sequined dress by the designer Calvin Klein, and it's certainly a fitting look for a leading lady. It features a plunging neckline and a super cool cut-out back. She looks like a straight-up mermaid in this gown, which she accessorized with elegant drop earrings, a smoky eye, and streaky blonde waves. Whether or not she takes home the golden statue, she can at least feel great about his outfit — and about her incredible performance.
Let's check out the memorable ensemble from all angles, shall we?
See what I mean? Green is definitely her color!
The gorgeous "v" back just might be my favorite part of this look.
So lovely!
