Super Bowl Fashion: Seahawks and Broncos Who? These Stars Were the Real Winners and Losers With Their Looks
Super Bowl XLVII may not have been the thrilling matchup we hoped for, but it certainly gave us a few memorable things to talk about this morning around the water cooler: the good and bad ads, the Bruno Mars halftime show, and Joe Namath's crazy fur coat, to name just a few. But by and far the most exciting part of Super Bowl weekend had nothing to do with the big game, and everything to do with all of the amazing and terrible things celebrities wore to the many Super Bowl bashes. Take a look at which stars went the way of the Seahawks with winning looks, and which stars — like the Broncos — missed it by a long shot.
Loss: Alyssa Milano
You would think that hosting a Super Bowl party would encourage you to look your best, but that just wasn’t the case for the actress at Maxim’s Big Game Weekend bash. The strapless pink and black-lace frock was just a bit too long on the petite Milano, especially when paired with her black tights.
Win: Erin Andrews
Despite her infamous interview with Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman just a few weeks ago, Andrews had no problem switching the topic of conversation to her gorgeous cut-out gown at GQ’s Super Bowl party.
Loss: Hannah Davis
She may have looked stunning in her white halter dress at the Shape and Men’s Fitness party, but the model’s too-tiny crop top at DIRECTV’s Super Saturday bash completely ruined it for us.
Win: Claudia Jordan
The Celebrity Apprentice alum looked perfectly polished in a fitted, figure-flattering, and graphic dress at Maxim’s Big Game Weekend bash.
Loss: Karina Smirnoff
She may be a star on the dance floor, but covering up her beautiful body in this nude top-heavy dress at Maxim’s Big Game Weekend party did Smirnoff no favors.
Win: Jamie Chung
Other stars may have chosen to show some skin or strut their stuff in high-fashion wares, but the actress kept it perfectly cute and casual at a Maxim event in jeans, a killer coat, and one ridiculously adorable hat.
Loss: Chanel Iman
It’s nearly impossible to make this model look anything less than stellar, but the plain purple spaghetti-strap gown she sported at DIRECTV’s Super Saturday Night party was a bit of a snooze.
Win: Stacy Keibler
Looking miles long in a smoking-hot red jumpsuit, Keibler was the sleekest lady in sight at the Shape and Men’s Fitness party.
Loss: Jessica White
From the bustier bodysuit to the thigh-high boots, we don’t even know where to start when narrowing down everything that went wrong with the model’s look at the GQ Super Bowl party.
Win: Kate Upton
Looking chicer and classier than ever, the buxom babe nailed a leather look at GQ’s Super Bowl bash.
Loss: Ashanti
Apparently, the singer didn’t take any notes from Kate Upton’s book, because she went horribly overboard with her all-leather ensemble at an ESPN party.
Win: Solange Knowles
We don’t know what’s more badass: the singer’s amazing hair, her super-chic coat, that stunning statement necklace, or the attitude with which she wears it all.
Loss: Laura Prepon
The former That ‘70s Show star looked far from groovy in her ill-fitting black jumpsuit, chain belt, and too-dark hair and makeup at an ESPN event.
