Back in the fall, an unexpected pair began making headlines: Kate Hudson and Nick Jonas. The How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days star was spotted spending time with the former boy-bander. They even went to Disney World together. While people assumed they were hooking up, no one knows for sure. Even months later, it remains a mystery, since neither party confirmed anything. Still, fans got a bit more insight on Wednesday morning. In an interview with CBS This Morning, Hudson dished about Jonas. During a lightning round, she was asked to pick between his two songs "Chains" or "Jealous." (She chose "Chains," for the record.) When a host then asked, "What would you like us to know about Nick Jonas? Share what you will," Hudson gave a perfect response:
He's a great guy. He's a sweetheart.
It's an ideal answer, because she plays coy. She doesn't give away any private details, but still manages to maintain a positive attitude about the whole situation. Clearly, they care about each other in some capacity. When pushed a bit further and asked what he'd say about her, Hudson joked, "Apparently that we have a really beautiful connection." She's clearly referencing Jonas' previous comments to Complex.
When he was asked about Hudson, the 23-year-old told the magazine,
Kate’s incredible. We had an unbelievable connection as two humans who just admire things about each other, and see something in each other that’s beautiful. Out of my best effort to respect her and her privacy, I’m not going to say if we had sex or not. But we did have a beautiful connection. Even now I have so much admiration and respect. She’s amazing.
Jonas may be 13 years younger than Hudson, but that quote shows his maturity. Whatever their "unbelievable connection" may have entailed is 100-percent their own business. He managed to compliment her, without giving away any personal details. That's totally gentlemanly.

Honestly, it's respectable how these two have handled questions about what exactly happened between them. Hudson doesn't divulge details, but it's clear that these two think highly of each other — and that's what matters most. It really does seem like a "beautiful connection." Another key part of the interview is when the hosts say she seems to be enjoying herself. Hudson responds, "I'm having a great time. I'm pretty happy."
At least that last part is definite — she's having fun. As for whether the dating rumors were true, I suppose that will remain up to fans' imagination.
