Hershey's Kisses Will Now Include This New Flavor

by Erin McKelle

I think it's safe to say that most of us are ready for spring to get us out of this snow and cold, am I right? Well, good news on that front: If you've already eaten all of your treats from Valentine's Day, you'll be excited to learn that Carrot Cake Hershey's Kisses are going to be a thing this spring. The Impulsive Buy recently spotted the treat on the shelves of Walmart, and I don't know about you, but I think they sound perfect for the upcoming season.

The Impulsive Buy recently spoke to TODAY about their sighting of the new Carrot Cake flavor candy; the theory is that it's most likely being marketed for Easter. They also noted that these Kisses are made from white chocolate that features a carrot-flavored filling inside. I can only imagine how decadent they must taste — just thinking about it is making my mouth water!

No official release date has been announced yet, though, so we'll have to wait to find out more details. In the meantime, let's take a look at four other spring and Easter candy specials from the not-so-distant past. Even you're not an Easter basket kind of person, these treats are still worth looking out for!

1. Easter Sundae M&Ms

In a fun play on words, Mars will be releasing a special Easter edition of their beloved M&Ms, which will feature a chocolate shell with white center inside replicating the flavor of an ice cream sundae. If you want to get your hands on a bag, the Impulsive Buy reports that they will be available exclusively at Walmart.

2. Mystery Peeps

You may remember the Mystery Peep flavors from last year — they were all white in color, but were all flavored differently. TODAY reported that the Mystery Peep concept will be back again this year with three new mystery flavors being unveiled. They will be sold exclusively at Walmart.

3. Reese's Peanut Butter Egg

If you're a huge fan of Reese's Peanut Butter Cups, you should be thrilled to learn that their Easter candy offerings will be back again this year — and, indeed, are already up on Hershey's website. Although the Peanut Butter Egg is arguably the most famous of their Easter-themed candy, Reese's will also offer Reester Peanut Butter Candy, Reese's Pieces Peanut Butter Pastel Egg Candy, and more.

4. Strawberry Starburst Jelly Beans

TODAY also confirmed that Walmart will be releasing an exclusive new flavor of Starburst Jelly Beans this year: Strawberry. Starburst has also released jelly beans for the Easter season in the past, such as their Crazy Beans, so this new flavor will offer an exciting take on this classic Easter favorite.
