Hanna & Jordan's 'PLL' Wedding May Never Happen

by Kelly Schremph

Pretty Little Liars has put fans through their paces over the course of six seasons, but if there's one hurdle most of us are having a difficult time dealing with it's the budding romance between Caleb and Spencer. I'm sorry, but as much as I love these two characters individually, I cannot and will not ever like them together as a couple. I have too much love for their former relationships to take this new pairing seriously. It's not just because I'm set in my ways (which I am), but I think we can all agree that Hanna and Caleb are endgame on this show. They always have been and always will be, which, of course, doesn't bode well for her upcoming nuptials. In fact, I highly doubt Hanna and Jordan will ever actually get married on Pretty Little Liars .

Don't get me wrong, her fiancé seems like a really, really great guy (maybe even a little too great to be legit), however, there's no denying how much chemistry still exists between Haleb even now. I don't care how many steamy Spaleb sex scenes the writers throw at us, the way these two still secretly feel about each other is almost palpable. Sure, Hanna gave Spencer her blessing to pursue Caleb, but we've all seen a glint of jealousy in her eyes at the sight of them together. She still loves him and that's only going to become more obvious as time goes on.

But hey, don't just take my word for it. (I am super biased about all this, if you can't already tell.) A brand new clip has surfaced from Tuesday night's episode "Where Somebody Waits For Me," which features Caleb and Hanna discussing the latest Big Bad over a few drinks at the Radley. It's sweet to see them still being there for each other in times of need and you can pretty much cut the sexual tension between them with a knife... especially when Hanna places her hand on his arm after he tries to pay the bill. "Next time," she promises with a smile. So there's going to be a next time, huh?!

Look, I'm not expecting for them to necessarily get back together anytime soon. But if Hanna's still harboring feelings like this for another man, then she really shouldn't be getting married in the first place. And knowing Hanna, I think she realizes that and won't let herself walk down that aisle when the day comes. Jordan may have been an easier replacement when things in life were going smoothly, but things get bad, it's Caleb she relies on for support. She's not afraid of hiding her lies and schemes from him. That's because they trust each other completely and love each other, secrets and all. Can she say the same about Jordan? I think not.

That being said, I. Marlene King is doing everything she can to up our stress levels. (I plan on sending her my therapy bill.) Episode 17's synopsis promises a mystery PLL wedding where "two lovers finally tie the knot," however, I have a hard time believing that it's in reference to Hanna and Jordan's wedding. Using the term "finally" implies that this is something we've been waiting a very long time for. Perhaps Hanna dumps Jordan on the day of and decides to marry Caleb right then and there? Anything is possible and it would certainly help to explain one of King's cryptic tweets:
