On every season of The Bachelor and The Bachelorette, there are one or two contestants who far and away have a better connection with the man or woman of the hour than the others do. This usually causes some tension, because, well, jealousy. The 20th season of The Bachelor is definitely no exception — right now, all of the women on the show are feeling uncomfortable about Lauren B., because she and Ben have an obvious chemistry that the others haven’t been able to duplicate. Yep, Lauren B. definitely has the ‘Bachelor’ contestants on edge.
I didn’t really notice it at first, because Lauren B. has kind of kept to herself so far this season. It all started when Leah (if you’re thinking, “Who?", you’re right) pulled Ben aside to tell him that Lauren B. isn’t the girl that Ben thinks she is. Ben obviously didn’t believe any of this because he sent Leah home like five minutes after the conversation. I didn’t get it either — it literally came out of nowhere. But, then, Becca made a statement to Ben about how the other girls are uncomfortable around him and Lauren B. because it’s so apparent that they like each other.
I mean, isn’t that the point of the show? To meet someone you like? But, the ladies competing seem to have forgotten what they signed up for (as they do every season).
What’s a guy to do? If I were Ben, I would just keep doing what he’s doing — if he’s here to meet his wife, he could have already met her in Lauren B. Same for Lauren B. — you keep doing you, baby, and you could be the next Bachelor success story. Don’t listen to the haters.
