Taylor & Selena Owned The 2016 Grammys

They might have played "frenemies" onscreen, but Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez at the 2016 Grammy Awards were the definition of #BFFgoals. I had a feeling that these superstar friends were arriving to the red carpet together ever since they posted a short video of them celebrating "Bad Blood" winning the Best Music Video Grammy just minutes before, but seeing these two in all their fashionable glory just made my night.

Swift stuck with her signature color scheme, sporting a red bandeau top and magenta skirt by Atelier Versace. But the Grammy winner's biggest style statement of the night would have to be Swift's chic bob hairstyle. Swift has not rocked this short hair on any red carpet before, so it's exciting to see her experiment with a daring style. Could this be a new Swifty era? I'm so ready for it.

Meanwhile, Gomez absolutely sparkled in a navy Calvin Klein gown with spaghetti straps and a plunging v-neckline. The singer definitely channeled Old Hollywood glamour with her look, right down to her loose waves and minimal jewelry. Both hers and Swifts looks, while contrasting in style, definitely complimented each other at music's biggest night, but it's their genuine friendship and fun spirit that truly made each artist's Grammy look even more memorable.
