We Need 'Game of Thrones' Season 4 Like Now

by Tanya Ghahremani

I know, I know — there are still months left until Game of Thrones season four premieres on HBO. It's been what feels like decades since season three (OK, like, six months, but it feels like so much longer), and, if you're anything like me, you're wishing that you had a DeLorean parked out front so it could just be April right now. Unfortunately, time travel isn't possible (yet), so we're just going to have to settle for these new Game of Thrones season four stills, and try to figure out any potential spoilers based off of them. So far I have none other than Daenerys is still a badass, Michiel Huisman, the new actor portaying Daario Naharis, looks nothing like the original actor Ed Skrien, and Joffrey still looks like a little jerk. Those aren't necessarily spoilers, though, are they?

As previously reported, HBO will be airing a special called Game of Thrones Ice and Fire: A Foreshadowing next month to answer any fans' burning questions about the series, as well as give some hints of what to expect in the upcoming fourth season and, possibly, clarify a bit of what happened in the previous seasons. Unfortunately, it'll only be 15 minutes long, but hey — it's something! That will air on Feb. 9 on HBO, at 8:45 p.m. ET.

As for season four: That will return to HBO on April 6. Check out the images below.
