Nicki Minaj & Meek Mill Could Get Married Soon-ish

If you've been following the ~saga~ of Nicki Minaj and Meek Mill's romance, you might infer that they're probably going to get engaged some point soon. And it's not a far-fetched assumption to make either, what with Meek Mill's constant gifting of diamond rings to the "Anaconda" rapper and the fact that Minaj literally once crowd-sourced wedding ideas on Twitter. But are Nicki Minaj and Meek Mill really getting married? Let's investigate.

While Minaj has made it abundantly clear that she is not actually engaged to Mill (yet), it's obvious that they are headed down that path. In fact, Minaj told Billboard in December 2015 that the rapper intends to give her three diamond rings before officially popping the question. And considering the fact that Minaj is already on Heart-Stopping Ring #2, it looks like we're just waiting for her to 'gram a third so this engagement can officially take place.

As for the second clue that Minaj has a wedding on the brain, there was also the time in late December when she took to Twitter to get fans' opinions about weddings. Now, she didn't specifically mention that this was about her future wedding, but does she actually care about what people think of a beach or church wedding in general? Probably not.

And, last but not least, Mill's own lawyer used the pair's intentions to one day tie the knot in order to try and help his client avoid jail time for a parole violation, telling the court that Mill plans to marry the rapper, and Minaj "would not marry a criminal or a bum."

As for her own thoughts on the whole marriage situation, Minaj gave it to 'em straight over at Billboard. "I don’t know what’s going to happen with he and I. I just know right now we are really, really enjoying each other’s company," Minaj said of her relationship with Meek Mill. "So, shout out to everybody in the world that’s just trying to find love or be happy. Everybody should have someone to hold at night. It really, really changes your energy. I find that my energy is very different afterward — if I’m in the bed with him, just hugging him all day. It’s just, like, something about love. You transfer it. It’s infectious."

There you have it: Nicki Minaj and Meek Mill aren't engaged and aren't married — but they're happier than ever and certainly have marriage on their minds. Bring on the third ring!
