Was it just me or did anyone else feel like there was a great deal of chemistry happening between Sara and Kendra on DC's Legends of Tomorrow this week? I know that it's probably too early to even consider this, given that Carter just died a few weeks ago, but there's no denying that they make for a pretty dynamic team. Not to mention that they are an awful lot in common. I mean, think about it — the two of them have been going through some pretty dark issues these days, what with one of them being a bloodlust-fueled assassin and the other one being a rage-filled Egyptian warrior. It would make sense for them to feel drawn to one another. But will this mean that Sara and Kendra will eventually get together on Legends ? Right now it's a little too early to say, but it certainly seems possible.
I'm not saying that it'll happen right away or anything. They're only just beginning to establish any sort of connection at all. But from what I witnessed during this week's episode "White Knights," I think this relationship has definite potential. They already are starting to bring out the best in each other. And while separately they can be dangerous, together they prove to be the kind of female superheroes we deserve to see more of.
So regardless of whether or not they remain strictly in the friend zone, I'm absolutely loving this dynamic and can't wait to (hopefully) see more of a Hawkgirl and White Canary team up in the very near future. When they're done with him, that evil Vandal Savage won't know what hit him.
