Kanye Wants To Be The Creative Director Of Hermès

Few people are as intense as Kanye West, whether it be about his music, his family, or, in this case, fashion. During his Yeezy Season 3 show, Kanye West said he wants to be the Creative Director of Hermès. Talk about goals. But if anyone is to boast a statement like this one, it would be the trusty Yeezy. Glamour reports that Mr. West made this claim to his whole audience.

During his NYFW show at Madison Square Garden (also, what?), Kanye not only debuted his newest collection, but also his newest album, The Life Of Pablo, which everyone was getting their groove on to, including all the Kardashian-Jenner sisters, and a very blonde Kim. Glamour reports that West told the crowd about a conversation he had with Anna Wintour, saying "I told this to Anna [Wintour] backstage, my dream is to be the creative director of Hermès."

Of course, the crowd went wild, and West said, "Oh that's a bad idea?" Obviously, all the West fans out there would have to disagree. Will this be Yeezy's next step? Hard to say — the fashion powerhouse, which was established in 1837, is considered to be the crème de la crème of luxury brands. Currently, Nadége Vanhee-Cybulski is the creative director, with an impressive resume: She was previously the design director at The Row, and has spent some time at Céline and Maison Martin Margiela.

Although he did do a great job with his latest collection, that's a big goal not just for Yeezy — for anyone!

Though you've got some huge fans, Mr. West — that's a pretty difficult CV to stack up to.

I will admit, though, he does have some serious influence, though.

Looks like Kanye's proved himself once more with his new album, while also building more impressive recognition for his line. If anyone believes he'll be the next Creative Director of Hermès, it's definitely Ye. No doubt, confidence can get you to some serious heights. As per Drake and Future — what a time to be alive.
