For those keeping up with the Kardashian family, Rob Kardashian's relationship with Blac Chyna has been quite the centerstage event. Considering the complicated history of drama between Chyna and the Kardashian-Jenner crew, it's a lot to take in. If you're already feeling a bit dizzy from their whirlwind romance, you may need to take a seat before reading any further. On Wednesday, reports surfaced that Kardashian and Chyna may be engaged after she was spotted rocking a giant diamond on her ring finger. As fans scoured the Internet for clues and repeatedly wished Instagram had a zoom feature, Chyna may have confirmed the news with a single emoji. Bustle has reached out to their reps, but has not heard back at this time.
Chyna, who's currently in Trinidad for a carnival, posted a throwback photo of herself laying in bed with Kardashian. She captioned the snapshot, "Missing Bae 💍" — and yes, that is indeed a ring emoji. The same emoji frequently used to symbolize an engagement or wedding. Either she's trolling the entire Internet or she's confirming what everyone was already thinking — these two are planning to tie the knot.
Of course, there are a variety of rings that exist. Maybe this is simply a promise ring or a "thanks for being my new roommate" ring. (Kardashian reportedly lives with Chyna now, according to TMZ.) This jewelry could also be an early Valentine's Day gift. But let's be real, there is a very specific finger she placed it on and I'm taking that as a major clue.
It doesn't really add anything to the engagement theory, but I must admit my favorite part of this picture is that they're using a selfie stick. Not only is it efficient, but it shows that they're really committed to documenting their time together. If they actually are engaged, I sure hope that they captured the proposal on film — even if it was with that same selfie stick.
Unfortunately, there's no ring visible in that shot, but you can see it in this photo from the Trinidad Carnival. Just look at that diamond!
Since these two aren't denying the rumors (and if anything, they're feeding into them), I would not be surprised if they really are engaged. Instagram appears to be their go-to way of confirming news about their love lives. After all, it was Chyna's black-and-white selfie that first got people talking about the couple. Kardashian has even posted a screenshot of them FaceTiming. They're all about sharing their relationship highlights with the world, so I imagine they'd do that with an engagement too.
I wouldn't bust out the balloons or send a congratulatory card just yet, since nothing is 100-percent definite. But I'd suggest keeping an eye out for any further confirmation. Considering how fast their relationship is moving, who knows — maybe they'll wind up married by the end of next week.
