She might not be nominated for a 2016 Grammy ( 25 isn't eligible for a Grammy nomination until 2017), but that doesn't mean Adele is staying away altogether. Thankfully, she will be performing. The Grammys just wouldn't be the same without her, right? So, since she will be in attendance, will Adele bring Simon Konecki to the Grammys? The two have been together for several years now so it would make sense for him to accompany her to the major music awards show.
Seeing as both Adele and Konecki are super private about their relationship, you never know when they're going to be spotted or talk about each other. Regarding the 58th annual Grammys, it's still unclear if Konecki will show up with Adele. If he does, it wouldn't be a huge shock, since he's been her date to award shows before.
For example, in 2013, Konecki was in the audience when Adele won Best Original Song at the Oscars for "Skyfall" from the 2012 James Bond film of the same name. Before heading to the stage, Konecki quickly kissed her on the cheek. She then gave the cutest shoutout to him during her speech and said through tears, "And my man. I love you, baby."
In addition to the Oscars, Konecki has also shown up to two previous Grammy award shows with Adele. In 2012, he was by her side when she won six Grammys (yes, six in one night, because she's a badass) for her album, 21. Then, he was also spotted at the 2013 Grammys, where Adele won a Grammy for Best Pop Solo Performance for "Set Fire to the Rain."
With that, I say the odds are pretty high for Adele and Konecki to show up together at the 2016 Grammys. If not, I'm sure there will be a good reason for him being MIA, so let's not jump to any conclusions.
Plus, all that really matters is that Adele will be there sharing her wonderful voice with the world. What's better than that?
