A Glimpse Into Seth MacFarlane's Western World

Forgive us, entertainment gods, for we have sinned: We had no idea A Million Ways To Die In the West was even a movie that was happening. And yet here we are, and Seth MacFarlane's first post- Ted directoral foray now has a bunch of new character posters. So let's take a gander.

A Million Ways To Die In the West stars a lot of big names, including Neil Patrick Harris, Amanda Seyfried, Lian Neeson, Charlize Theron, Sarah Silverman, Giovanni Ribisi, and MacFarlane himself. According to IMDb the plot follows "a cowardly farmer seek[ing] the help of a gunslinger's wife to help him win back the woman who left him." The whole thing's a satirical Western comedy, and hey, there are no raunchy animated children's toys in sight! Bonus!

Further synopsis:

After a cowardly sheep farmer backs out of a gunfight, his fickle girlfriend leaves him for another man. When a mysterious and beautiful woman rides into town, she helps him find his courage and they begin to fall in love. But when her husband, a notorious outlaw, arrives seeking revenge, the farmer must put his newfound courage to the test.
