The emotional roller coaster that is the Kylie Lip Kit looks to be leveling out a bit. Kylie Jenner said her Lip Kits will be available more often moving forward and encouraged fans not to purchase via third party sites at crazy expensive prices. The official Kylie Cosmetics Instagram followed up the increased frequency reveal with an update that all Lip Kits ordered last Friday are shipping. They noted that the team is working around the clock to manufacture and ship more of these matte liquid lipsticks, which have attained makeup unicorn status. Most importantly, the team posted, "We continued making more kits today and we will for sure see you again THIS WEEK."
So there you have it. THIS WEEK! More Kylie Lip Kits are scheduled to go on sale this week, as previously promised. Perhaps that means this Friday. Maybe Lip Kits going on sale will be a Friday "thing." We'll have to wait and see, and hopefully not endure more Insta teasing again. I can't take much more of it!
What will be in the next restock of Kylie Lip Kits? Well, we can and should assume that she will restock the original trio (or "Season 1," as I have christened them) of velvety neutrals aka Candy K, Dolce K, and True Brown K. I actually managed to order a Candy K and am waiting impatiently for it to arrive. But what about the future future?
We also can and should assume that she will also restock the Valentine's Day trio, comprised of Koko K, Mary Jo K, and Posie K. I don't expect this to be limited to sale for Valentine's Day, which is this weekend. These should outlive the particular holiday with which they are associated.
There aren't many clues in the caption about what the next restock of Lip Kits will include but Jenner hasn't been teasing any new colors or dropping hints. So we can safely expect Season 1 and Season 2 of the Lip Kits to be available again this week.
However, on the "hoping and wishing and entirely plausible" side of things, I will also revisit my prior prediction and hope for a black shade in the near future. Jenner was always able to embrace her inner goth. Perhaps a black shade is in the works. If it isn't, it needs to be.
This super nude shade doesn't look too much like any of her prior Lip Kit shades, either. It's lighter and more of a true bare shade than Candy and Dolce. She might be going for a spring'ish look in future Kits and this would fit.
What about a burgundy or wine shade? She hasn't gone there in her Lip Kits yet. But she has rocked this deep shade before. Bordeaux lips might seem best reserved for cooler, autumn temps, but I say screw the rules and so does Jenner. She might come up with something like this for summer. It'd look gorgeous paired against bare, slightly sun-kissed skin.
So that's what I am hoping for. That said, here's a dose of reality.

My suggestion is to troll the Kylie Cosmetics Insta, as well as Jenner's personal feed, for more digital alarm clocks regarding the next restock.
