Why Those Beyoncé Baby Rumors May Be True

As long as there has been Beyoncé, there have been Beyoncé pregnancy rumors, and lately, it seems like they've been kicked up a notch. Since the birth of Blue Ivy in 2012, people have been clamoring for info on when the Queen and husband Jay-Z are planning to have their second kid. And although it's clearly nobody's business what Beyoncé does or doesn't do with her uterus, I can't help but get wrapped up in it, too, and this time, I think there's a chance the rumors could actually be true. Of course, there have been some pretty ridiculous ones — like the time she carried her laptop in a way that obviously meant she had to be expecting — but despite the insanity, it really seems more likely now than ever that baby number two could be on the way. Bustle has reached out to Beyoncé’s rep regarding the pregnancy reports, but has not received a response.

Word on the street is that Beyoncé will announce her pregnancy at the Super Bowl this Sunday, and it wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if she did. After all, she announced her first pregnancy by showing off her Blue Ivy bump at the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards, shocking and amazing basically the entire world in the process. I can't imagine she'd go low key for her second baby, especially since she knows her fans have been dying to find out whether or not she's pregnant again. And this time, I think there's definitely a chance that she is. Why?

It's The Perfect Time

Of course, keep in mind that I know nothing about Beyoncé and Jay-Z's private life together, but going off of what is public knowledge, it seems like there hasn't been a more convenient time for her to bring another life into this world. She released a surprise album that people are still talking about, and their wildly successful On The Run tour is now behind them. Now that Bey isn't worrying about album promo or performing at concerts every night, it seems like things have calmed down enough for a pregnancy to make sense — and if they planned for it, now seems like a time they would've planned for.

Beyoncè and Jay-Z Definitely Want Another Kid

If they'd gone on record saying they weren't into having more than one child, that'd be one thing, but it's not the case. In fact, in an interview with Good Morning America in 2013, Beyoncé said Blue Ivy "needs some company," referencing the relationship that she had with her own sister, Solange. Unless something has changed between then and now, it seems like a baby is definitely in her future, if not now then eventually.

The Rumors Are Bigger Than Ever Before

OK, so Hollywood rumors tend to be wrong a lot of the time, but sometimes they're right — and sometimes, they carry just a tiny grain of the truth. Normally, I wouldn't buy into them at all, especially if it were just one or two stories that seemed like they came out of left field, but the fact that the rumors have been increasing in volume recently seems to lend more credibility to them.

They Need To Have Another One

OK, so this has nothing to do with whether they're actually expecting or not, but it's the truth. Let's face it: Jay-Z and Beyoncé make seriously adorable children, and they seem to be awesome parents. Why rob the world of a second one when we've seen how perfect the first one is?

I'll be watching the Super Bowl this year — not for the football, but for the fact that there's no way I'm missing Beyoncé's pregnancy announcement if it happens. And if I'm wrong? Well, there are always the awesome commercials.
