Katie's All Work, No Ring On 'RHOP'
If The Real Housewives of Potomac is to be believed, the life of a socialite and philanthropist includes long days of getting interviewed spiced up with trying on bikinis for a wealthy teenager to wear on summer break. But matter what the Housewives threw her way, Katie was all about raising money for her Rost Foundation, even though it meant missing out on new friend Ashley's big whiskey tasting/coming out party. The Rost Foundation helps local kids get better opportunities, and was named in honor of Katie's late father. And, of course, she applies her singleminded determination to everything in her life, including her relationship. Katie still isn't engaged to her boyfriend, Andrew, even though she dropped a good number of hints.
But as a stereotypical guy, Andrew managed to feign that he was totally oblivious. Even though Katie's borderline obsession with dating white, Jewish men is a little odd, I do think they make a good pair, so hopefully she doesn't drive him away by pushing the relationship to get too serious too fast — and according to Andrew, when she constantly mentions the potential of getting married, it's stopped him from actually moving forward on getting a ring and proposing.
While Andrew was with Katie and her kids on Thanksgiving 2015, none of the RHOP star's recent IG photos show her with a ring, either... so maybe she's gotten a little more laid back about when and how they'll tie the knot.
In the first episode of the series, Katie mentioned that she grew up attending charity balls and galas every single night of the week, so it's no surprise that she's a savvy professional when it comes to convincing people to support the Rost Foundation. She worked the room at that Washington event in order to promote her upcoming Casino Night (which I desperately hope will be covered on RHOP), and even did a little modeling for Karen in order to butter her up for a potential Rost foundation donation as well. Psst, by the way, Andrew — for the girl who devotes everything to philanthropy, maybe you could give Katie a surprise proposal at one of her events.
