Carol Burnett Wore Some Unique Shoes At The SAGs

When you’ve been on as many red carpets as this legend has, you have every right to wear whatever you like, and that’s exactly what this Life Achievement Award recipient has done. Carol Burnett rocked Uggs on the SAG Awards red carpet because when you’ve got this much gravitas in Hollywood, why would you wear anything else, you know?

Major props to Burnett for putting comfort above anything else. No one likes having to leave a fancy event carrying their shoes, and this woman has been in the limelight long enough to know the trick to feeling comfortable in heels — not to wear them at all. Her green blazer and skirt combo was completely elegant, and was all she needed to be appropriate for the red carpet. Plus, that sequined top was so gorgeous and sparkly, who was even looking at her feet, you know? Her UGG slippers were cozy and cute.

I commend Burnett for completely owning the red carpet, in some comfortable footwear, at that. Check out her killer outfit which was made all the better by her amazing attitude. I don’t know about you, but I’m hoping that someday I can be just as cool as she is. Because seriously, this is an incredible red carpet moment.

Killing the game.

She started out in heels, but ditched them early on. I don't blame her at all, either. The UGGs are ten times cozier, and add a really fun element to that emerald green ensemble.

When you're receiving the highest award of the evening, who cares what you wear, you know? She killed it in both heels and in slippers.
