The One Gift To Get Your Galentine This Year

February 14 is fast approaching and while some people (like me!) are super excited about it, others are not so pumped. But whether you think that Valentine’s Day is a BS holiday or a day to celebrate love in all of its forms, there’s another day that I think everyone can get behind: Galentine’s Day on February 13.

For those of you who aren’t avid fans of Amy Poehler’s now off-air show Parks & Recreation, please stop reading and go watch the entire series. JK! Poehler’s character Leslie Knope loves her friends and creates a holiday called “Galentine’s Day” in order to show them just how great she thinks they are. While Knope celebrates the day with breakfast foods (once you’ve watched the show, you’ll understand why), you can obviously celebrate Galentine's Day in whatever way your friends will appreciate the most.
