But I suppose that's just the nature of the beast, and unfortunately, the struggles of fame often interfere with successful personal relationships, leading to quick hookups and breakups. Actually, dating is probably too strong of a word to use for some of these couples. In the world of Hollywood, it is pretty certain that some co-stars will get involved after filming and working together, or be introduced by mutual friends running in the same circles. Random as these pairings may seem, celebrities truly are just like us and sometimes their flings work out, but mostly, they do not.

Back in 2007, Rih-Rih and LaBeouf were spotted eating together in Beverly Hills, but that potential romance was over before it even had a chance to begin. LaBeouf told Playboy in the June 2009 issue, "It never got beyond one date... The spark wasn’t there. We weren’t passionate about each other in that way, so we remain friends.”

2. Simon Cowell & Carmen Electra

After she guest starred on Britain's Got Talent in 2012, the two kept in touch and had a short little fling from December 2012 until February 2013. Sources claimed Electra caught him with his now baby-momma and the rest is history. Eeesh.

Somehow, Jessica Simpson and Smashing Pumpkins' Billy Corgan ended up working together and "hooking up," albeit very briefly. Corgan said Simpson asked him to work on music for her show, The Price of Beauty. They were spotted together after that, and Corgan told Howard Stern in 2012, that he "sort of kind of went out" with the singer.
