Despite media reports insinuating that Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick are having all kinds of relationship drama months after calling it quits, the former loves have mostly kept quiet about things in the time following their split. Still, that hasn't stopped the media from linking them to other people, including Disick with model Lina Sandberg and Kardashian with Justin Bieber, while those of us who have always shipped for them to end up together hoping there was some truth to that rumor, as well. But with Disick focusing on his sobriety and Kardashian focusing on her kids, it seemed like they may not be working on getting back together. Kardashian stopped by The Ellen DeGeneres Show and, naturally, the show's host had to ask what their current status is.
The reality star, who admitted she was "nervous" to appear on the show, simply responded, "We’re not together. I feel like every day is different, but we’re totally getting along. Like, we have three beautiful kids together … He’s family. He’ll always be."
It's understandable given that they're the parents to three young children that they would want to focus on simply remaining civil for the sake of their children, but is it wrong that I'm reading so much into that "every day is different" comment? Could it be that we haven't seen the last of their relationship?
Just two days ago, Kris Jenner weighed in on their relationship. When speaking to Access Hollywood , Jenner had this to say:
Scott's good right now. Scott will always be part of our family and we love him very, very much. And he's the father of my grandchildren and he and I were together a couple days ago having a great time, and he's doing well and will always be a part of our family ... I don't have a crystal ball so I don't [know] where our relationship is going to end up. I don't try to even comment on that or get my head handed to me. I let them figure it out.
Since none of us have a crystal ball, only time will tell what the future holds for these two. But for now, Kourtney and Scott shippers will just have to hold out hope that Disick can remain on a happy and healthy path, with Kardashian and their children by his side.
