Big News For 'Teen Mom's Maci!

Well, you might've seen this one coming. Teen Mom star Maci Bookout is engaged to Taylor McKinney! The 24-year-old shared the news on Instagram Tuesday with a picture of herself kissing her new fiancé and showing off her engagement ring. She wrote in the caption, "Well y'all, my best friend asked me to marry him! I'm one lucky lady, I love you T!"

If you're a fan of Teen Mom, you know that this engagement has been a long time coming. McKinney and Bookout have been together for a little over three years, which is not that long in the grand scheme of things, but they've been through a lot and have clearly been interested in getting married.

During an episode that aired in May of last year, McKinney was shown going ring shopping. At the time, Bookout was pregnant with their daughter, Jayde, who is now seven months old, so perhaps they decided to wait on the engagement until after things had calmed down a bit — well, as much as they can calm down when you're raising a baby and a 7-year-old. (If you're out of the loop, Bookout has a 7-year-old son, Bentley, from a previous relationship with Ryan Edwards, who is also featured on the show and came into the spotlight with Bookout when they were both filmed for 16 and Pregnant.)
