'Workaholics' Season 6 Has Impressive Guest Stars

by Caroline Gerdes

Come Thursday, Jan. 14, Comedy Central’s Workaholics is back for Season 6, and its trailer with slogan “Get Weirder” promises, well, the weirdest season yet. The trippy teaser depicts more absurdity in the seemingly ordinary lives of our favorite TelAmeriCorp employees, Adam, Blake and Ders (Adam Devine, Blake Anderson, and Anders Holm). Though, the trio often doesn’t have to do it alone since there's a revolving door of guest stars making appearances on the show. So which guest stars will be on Workaholics Season 6?

According to Comedy Central, the premiere episode synopsis states, “The guys transfer to a different branch of TelAmeriCorp to work for a charismatic leader.” This charming new boss will be played by comedian Dane Cook. And, based on a picture Adam Devine Instagrammed of the group in ‘80s business suits with a Gordon Gekko-esque look, I can surmise that Liam Hemsworth and Pauly Shore may be new co-workers at the Rancho branch. Other guest stars expected to appear this season include Whitney Cummings and Andy Dick.

That's a pretty star-studded season, but that's what fans have come to expect from the show. And, before you tune into Workaholics on Thursday, Jan. 14, take a look back at some of the best guest stars of seasons' past.

1. Steve Howey

Steve Howey portrayed Adam’s cousin Blue Knight, a former Medieval Times knight who prefered to be called Tony and said he never offered to knight Blake.

2. The Black Keys

The duo guest-starred as dirtbags with oddly long ponytails in small-claims court.

3. Chris D’Elia

Chris D’Elia played the disturbingly cool pedophile the guys tried to entrap with a Justin Bieber ruse.

4 & 5. Seth Rogen & Zac Efron

To promote the film Neighbors, Rogen and Efron teamed up with Workaholics as #cubicleneighbors competing for the coveted fourth spot in the gang’s TelAmeriCorp cubicle.

6. Rebel Wilson

The Pitch Perfect pair teamed up again, but this time Rebel Wilson played a devout Juggalo.

7. Ben Stiller

Ben Stiller played the guys’ landlord in an episode aptly titled “Front Yard Wrestling.”

8. Jack Black

Jack Black played Adams brother/father. Need I say more?

9. Tom Arnold

In a flash back, Arnold played the guys’ old boss. And, their parody of “Lazy Sunday” is hilarious.

10. Rumer Willis

Willis played a pretty drug dealer who ended up being more than the guys’ could handle.

11. Tom Green

Green played a cyber-version of himself.

Clearly the show knows how to take a guest star and put them into a new and surprising role, so I can't wait to see how Season 6's celebs are integrated!
