Choosing a favorite Kardashian-Jenner family member is tough. Do you go for the queen bee, Kim K? Or maybe you're a fan of Kourtney's parenting techniques. What about Kendall Jenner's flawless style? See, they all have their upsides. As for Khloé Kardashian, her strength is always speaking her mind. Earlier in the week, she confirmed Kendall and Harry Styles are dating. Then when talking with Catt Sadler from E! News, the 31-year-old admitted she's as confused by Kylie Jenner and Tyga's relationship status as everyone else. In that same conversation, Khloé weighed in on the Kourtney and Justin Bieber hookup rumors, and it sounds like fans may finally have an answer.
At first, Khloé kind of deflected the question by trying to talk about the Bieber and Hailey Baldwin romance rumors instead. But Sadler quickly spun the question back around, asking if there was ever a time that Kourt and Biebs were together. Khloé's response?
Justin has been a friend of the family for years and years. They go to the same church.
After some banter back and forth, Khloé ended the discussion with a more clear answer, saying, "No, I kind of wish those stories were true." (Doesn't everybody?) Despite the fact that the conversation was semi-awkward, she did deny that there's anything happening between her sister and the "Sorry" singer. (You can watch the interview here.)
So, does this really mean everybody should stop believing those Kourtney and Bieber rumors? Considering Khloé is incredibly close with her sister, she would definitely have intel into the situation. And when it came to talking about her other sister Kendall and those Harry Styles rumors, she didn't hide anything there. Essentially she's not afraid to be blunt, and based on everything else that Khloé said, dating is the furthest thing from Kourt's mind right now. She explained,
She's just not thinking about that yet. She's so all about her kids. So all about, "Let's get Scott healthy and in a good spot." ... I think she's taking time for her kids right now. [Dating] is not really her focus... She's not looking.
While it was certainly amusing to think about, I think it's officially time to let the rumors go. Especially since Bieber tried to dismiss the subject himself. He replied, "Nah, we'll leave it at that" when asked whether there was anything between him and the mom-of-three. He, too, threw in the line about knowing the family for years.
Although I'm admittedly still a bit skeptical about the whole situation, "family friends" is the explanation they're going with. And you know what? Fans will just have to accept that.
