January is full of incredible celeb makeup collabos! On the indie tip, L.A. brand ColourPop and Karrueche Tran are launching the KaePop collection, comprised of 10 super affordable but high quality products that are sold separately or together as a set. ColourPop and Tran are crashing the January makeup party that includes Gwen Stefani and Urban Decay and Ariana Grande and MAC, which are big name, available everywhere brands. Where can you nab KaePop, since ColourPop is an on-the-rise cult fave that is not (yet) sold in every department store or makeup boutique?
Relax, I'll tell ya how to support this semi-new kid on the block.
KaePop will be available exclusively on the ColourPop website on Friday, Jan. 22. If the collection, which includes color-drenched, matte eye shadows and matte lipsticks, among other things, tickles your makeup fancy, bookmark the site now and follow 'em on Instagram. Oh, and set a reminder alarm in your phone... now.

Tran is a model, actress, and celebutante who was on-off, on-off with Chris Brown. She is also a philanthropist and is actually donating a portion of the collection's proceeds to her environmental organization.
ColourPop is an indie brand that has also teamed up with Jaime King and that is poised to further assert itself in 2016.
The KaePop collection was inspired by Tran's everyday look. It boasts four Super Shock matte shadows ($5) in lots of neutral and wearable colors, like Crenshaw (medium brown matte), Wilshire (light warm beige matte), Beverly (burgundy matte), and Sunset Blvd (sheer gold). There are three Ultra Matte lipsticks ($6) with coordinating lip pencils, as well. They come in Chi (nude), Kae (brown), and Rooch (deep burgundy). There is also a blush in Flush'd (peach), a warm highlighter in Glo Up, and a warm bronzer in Bronze Me ($8).
The whole collection is available as a $72 set.
