The ladies of The Real Housewives of Atlanta better get used to no longer being at the top, because there is now someone new who is taking over the No. 1 spot. On Thursday, Kandi Burruss revealed her son's name with husband Todd Tucker, and as she describes it, he now has quite the "unqiue" moniker. She told E! News, "We named our beautiful baby boy Ace because I wanted something unique. When he becomes school age, hopefully he won't have to worry about another person in the class having his name."
So, Ace really isn't really that different, but it definitely isn't something you hear on a daily basis. As for Ace's middle name, it's a meaningful one honoring Tucker's mother, Miss Sharon, who died in 2014 from a stroke. "More than that," Burruss added, "Ace represents the number 1 and that of the highest quality and our baby Ace is definitely that!" She continued, "His middle name Wells was Todd's mother's last name. Using her last name as his middle name was our way of honoring her memory."
I think it's safe to say that their baby boy has a pretty perfect name. On Wednesday, Burruss gave birth to Ace and told People, "Todd and I have been waiting so long for his delivery and he is so very perfect."
As you can see above, Tucker shared a photo on Instagram with the caption mentioning his mom, "Me and my little man!!! I wish my mom could be here to meet him. She would be so happy and proud of Kandi and I!!! God is good!!! All the time!!!"
It's official: Burruss and Tucker are head over heels in love with their baby boy. He is one lucky little boy with a very special name, indeed.
