One of our —as in me and you— favorite celeb x makeup collaborations is expanding! Gwen Stefani's full Urban Decay collection, which started out with a holiday season eye shadow palette packed with 15 shades, lands online exclusively on the Urban Decay site on Tuesday, Jan. 12. There are lots of products for all features and in a variety of shades, so it's truly an all-encompassing, limited edition range. And yes, there are lipsticks. Tons of lipsticks!
Stefani x Urban Decay is pretty on the inside and out. The color payoff is intense and the black and white packaging with gold accents is incredibly collectible. It also looks better displayed on your vanity than it does stored!
The singer and the brand worked in concert for an entire year, carefully designing and developing the products. Stefani was intricately involved in the creation process. In fact, the UD team, including founder Wende Zomnir, spent endless hours holed up at Stefani's crib, discussing makeup and pouring over details.
Stefani basically created shades that she felt were missing in her personal arsenal. Now fans of her Old Hollywood glam x modern punk rock x pop princess look and of Urban Decay have the means to recreate and expand on the signature Stefani style. Huzzah!
