Alison Brie Wore One Of The Best Looks At The PCAs
Despite the fact that I never watched Community, Alison Brie's most well-known project, I've loved her ladylike style ever since I saw her play Trudy on Mad Men years ago. There's something about her simple style that's just so elegant. And Alison Brie's 2016 People's Choice Awards outfit turned out to be taken right out of her style playbook.
The actor, who's newest project is a film called How To Be Single, showed up on the PCAs red carpet in a midi-length mint dress with tapered cut-outs and an adorable neckline. The star's a big fan of the midi-length dress — she also wore one to the premiere of her film Sleeping With Other People. The silhouette isn't the easiest one to pull off, but I love how ladylike Brie makes it look (and I like to imagine she wears them as a throwback to Mad Men).
The star kept it simple with her hair and makeup. She went for soft pink lipstick, perfectly groomed brows, and the flirtiest eyelashes I've seen in awhile. Seriously, I need to find out if she's wearing falsies and get my hands on a pair ASAP. Her hair was loosely curled and majorly shiny as well.
I love how piecey the ends of Brie's hair looks, so I'm going to have to figure out her styling secrets and recreate them at home as well.
Brie kept her jewelry super simple and opted for strappy minimalist silver sandals and a few thin silver bangles. (Along with that gorgeous engagement ring from Dave Franco, of course.)
In the heart of winter, I love seeing a celebrity step outside of the black/navy/grey rut, and Brie's mint dress was the perfect icy hue to do that.
