Kim Kardashian is the undisputed queen of social media, and with good reason. The reality star has always used her various social media outlets of choice to connect intimately with her fans, and she's said in the past that she loves using it to give fans a glimpse into her life behind the scenes. And the fans clearly love her back: She's quickly inching towards 39 million (yes, that's million) followers on Twitter, 57 million followers on Instagram, and she's just passed the 27 million mark on Facebook. She even has her own line of emojis called "Kimojis" (but, of course!). But Kardashian has been reluctant to join one popular social media outlet that sister Kylie Jenner has shown lots of love for: Snapchat, despite the fact that fans are dying for a Kim Kardashian Snapchat takeover.
The youngest of the Kardashian-Jenner clan, Jenner holds the title of the "most viewed person in the world" on the app, and fans love being able to see her day-to-day activities in a quick snap, but so far her big sister hasn't been on board with joining... that is, until Tuesday night, when Kardashian hinted something major on her Twitter while hanging with her friend, music producer DJ Khaled. Khaled snapped this image of the two hanging out, and Kardashian tweeted to her followers:
It only makes sense that Kardashian join Snapchat given her affinity for most other social media outlets. After the release of her massively successful Kim Kardashian: Hollywood game, the 35-year-old told AdWeek:
Social media works when you're open, when you're honest and people want to feel like they're getting a little glimpse into your life. It's not that I brand myself like I'm a celebrity. It's just I'm living my life and sharing a part of my life with the world.
