6 Things Teresa Has Done Since Her Release

If anyone is truly embodying the "new year, new me" mantra, it's Teresa Giudice. Talk about a fresh start! The Real Housewives of New Jersey star was released from prison on Dec. 23, 2015, just in time to celebrate Christmas with her family. But she's not completely out of the woods yet. The reality star is actually on house arrest until February when her sentence will be finished. Nevertheless, Teresa has done a lot of things since her release. Although she is pretty restricted, the RHONJ Housewife is making up for lost time and catching up with her friends and family.

Slowly, but surely, Real Housewives fans have got to see some glimpses of Teresa's post-prison life. Once again, thank God for social media keeping us all in the loop. We haven't had any major statements or in depth reveals from the mother of four, but she is keeping in touch with her fans, spending time with her daughters, and even having fun with some unexpected friends. (Really, though, you'll never believe who Teresa was hanging out with for New Year's Eve. It was very nice to see, but it was also pretty shocking.)

1. She Reunited With Her Family

This is obviously the most important thing to Teresa. The 43-year-old is an extremely involved mother to her four daughters, so she was elated to be able to hug her girls whenever she wants.

2. She Spent NYE With Melissa Gorga

Can pigs fly? Are we in a post-apocalyptic world? Teresa and Melissa Gorga hung out, and it looks like they had some fun moments on New Year's Eve. You have no idea how much this warms my heart.

3. She Returned To Social Media

She's back!!! Teresa has made her first posts to Instagram and Twitter since her release, so hopefully this means that fans will be getting regular updates about her life from now on. She even changed her Twitter avatar to show off her new post-prison physique.

4. She Celebrated The Holidays

Teresa's return was the best present that her daughters could have received for Christmas, so it was perfect timing that she came home the day before Christmas Eve.

5. She Posted A Video Message To Fans

The fans still have a lot more questions for Teresa, but watching her smiling and acting like the old Tre was so nice to see.

6. She Received A Lexus For Christmas

Considering that her family's legal troubles are all related to spending beyond their means, it was kind of a touchy subject with the media when Teresa came home to a brand new Lexus in the driveway. People were really freaking out over "Lexusgate," but the girl needs a car, so just let her be.

Teresa has been keeping a relatively low profile, focusing on spending time with her family. It's clear that she is very happy and healthy, which is just what the fans want to see!
