'Bachelor' Ben Takes The Physical Stuff Seriously

Ben Higgins might be the cutest Bachelor ever, but let's not forget — Kaitlyn Bristowe had a shot at him first. But, she ultimately passed on him and even sent her friend Jami his way, who will be on The Bachelor this season. But, did Ben & Kaitlyn hook up in the Fantasy Suite on her season of The Bachelorette? Ben, as the second runner up, did make it to the Fantasy Suite episode with Kaitlyn, and they decided to spend the night together. But, since the show doesn't have cameras on during the Fantasy Suite dates, there's no way to know for sure whether or not Ben & Kaitlyn did more than just "talk" all night long, and frankly it's not really any of our business. Let's not forget the terrible slut-shaming Kaitlyn received for sleeping with Nick Viall and admitting it.

Ben wasn't quite as vocal about his time in the Fantasy Suite. During the on-camera portion of the date, Ben made it sound like he wasn't not really interested in hooking up without the commitment of a relationship. He told Kaitlyn that he was explicitly looking to get to know her better by "talking" all night, not their "physical" relationship. So he heavily suggested that no, he wasn't planning to have sex with Kaitlyn, even if they had some epic on-camera makeouts.

However, Bachelor and Bachelorette super-sleuth Reality Steve says the opposite, suggesting that while shooting The Bachelorette Kaitlyn had sex with Nick (which was confirmed on the show), Shawn, and Ben, all of her Fantasy Suite dates, as a part of his pre-season spoiler specials.

Ben has also told People that Kaitlyn embarrassed him when asking about his sexual history on TV. But he did wind up saying that he's had sex before. "It's not something you expect to be brought up. I don't think it was something my grandma or my mom didn't expect or were shocked by, but it was weird," Ben said. "I have to thank Kaitlyn for taking the opportunity to ask me that on national television. So, now my grandma knows for certain!"

Since either way, it's all speculation, there's no way to know for sure whether Ben and Kaitlyn really hooked up when they spent the night together while filming The Bachelorette. But if what he said on the show is true, Ben isn't going to be the type for a bunch of shallow hookups, so if he does wind up consummating any of those Fantasy Suite nights on his season, you know that he probably has a serious relationship with the lucky lady.
