Rihanna Proves Hair Bows Can Be Chic

If you're still scrambling for the perfect holiday hairstyle that's festive without being cheesy, then you absolutely need to see Rihanna's holiday party hairstyle. According to E!, the singer had a party with family and friends in Los Angeles, and the giant, oversized bow she wore in her hair is the edgiest way to wear ribbons yet. Save the red and green glittery stuff for your actual presents, because this is how to do a grown-up bow.

RiRi got her holiday celebration on a little early, having a karaoke party last week that she no doubt dominated, but her outfit might be even better than her vocal skills. The 27-year-old singer wore a slinky red velvet slip dress (it wouldn't be Christmas without some red velvet), with an oversized black jacket, silver strappy heels, and a pair of round sunglasses — but the best part is by far her hair.

Rihanna had her hair in loose curls, all tied up with a giant black bow. And there is literally nothing cheesy about it at all. Now, to be fair, I'm not entirely sure whether this is an actual bow or a tie, but it has the effect of looking like a bow, and regardless, it's adorbs.
