Chelsea Clinton's 2nd Child Will Be A Summer Baby

It's going to be a big year for Chelsea Clinton. She's gearing up to help support her mom on the presidential campaign trail, she's working for the Clinton Foundation, and she just announced that she and her husband, Marc Mezvinsky, have another baby on the way. Chelsea Clinton is due next summer, she wrote in a tweet on Monday. While it's not yet clear exactly what the date is, with her December announcement of a summer baby, I'm guessing maybe around May or June. Chelsea wrote, "Next summer, Charlotte is going to be a big sister! Feeling very blessed & grateful this holiday season."

Hillary Clinton was ecstatic about the news, tweeting almost immediately after Chelsea, "Your dad and I could not be happier for you, Marc, and Charlotte. We’re so excited to meet our second grandchild! -H." Former President Bill Clinton also tweeted out his excitement, writing, "Christmas comes early! @HillaryClinton and I are thrilled for Chelsea, Marc and Charlotte’s growing family in 2016!" Chelsea's first child, Charlotte, turned 1 in September.

Chelsea drew on Charlotte's upcoming big sister title when announcing her pregnancy, tweeting an adorable photo of little Charlotte opening a book titled "Big Sisters Are The Best."

This will be Hillary and Bill's second grandchild, and really, he or she will come at the perfect time. While the Clinton family is going to have a very busy year in 2016, no matter what happens, the new baby will be born in time to see if Hillary is elected. Whether the baby will be there to celebrate or to cheer everyone up remains to be seen, but I bet the Clintons will just be happy to have the little one on hand.
