Lauren Conrad Doesn't Look Like This Anymore
If you thought the days of Laguna Beach were long gone — well, you were right, but they’re waaay in the distance for real, now. Lauren Conrad dyed her hair red, so everything you thought you knew has changed. Take a minute to let that sink in because this is a big deal. As long as I can remember Conrad’s been a blonde. I mean, sure, she’s changed up her look a little over the years, but never to this extent.
She’s gone from long layers to a lob to a bob, but she’s always kept that beachy blonde color the same. Even through curls, updos and sleek straight styles, the color remained, but she's really thrown caution to the wind this time, you guys. It’s stylist Kristin Ess that both colored and inspired LC’s auburn locks. In fact, they’re both the same strawberry blonde color. It’s not even the 2016 yet, and Conrad’s already taking the whole “new year, new me” sentiment super seriously.
As much as I will miss her signature blonde hair, I do really like this color on her. Of course, I’m not surprised that she can pull this off. I trust both Conrad and Ess with all things hair related, so, naturally, this was a good decision. See how the former reality TV star has changed up her hair in the past. I think you’ll find this new ‘do to be a truly different look for her.
They're practically twins!
1. Long Layers
This is the LC we all knew and loved.
2. Lob
The lob wasn't too much of a change, so it was a pretty easy transition.
3. Ponytail
She was great at pulling off a classy updo.
4. Bob Cut
Conrad chopped the locks for a modern feel, and I was OK with it. I really like short hair on her.
5. Loose Curls
She tried different ways of styling her newly cut hair.
6. All Wound Up
Even more tightly wound tendrils looked great.
7. Middle Part
She could totally pull off a middle part, which is not an easy thing to do, if you ask me.
As you can see, this is her most dramatic change to date. But hey, you can't blame a girl for wanting to switch things up a bit. It'll take some getting used to, but I'm already loving this change. Way to go, LC!
