I hope you woke up this morning and thought, "You know what, world? I'm ready to cry uncontrollably at my desk today!" Because now that Netflix has released the teaser trailer for Fuller House (Miranda Lambert song and all), your day just got a whole lot more emotional. Tell your co-workers that you have allergies or something. We're going to get through this.
Of course, we don't actually see much of what will be going on in Netflix's sequel series about DJ taking over her father's role as the head of the family drama. The teaser opens on the iconic San Francisco house (try to maintain emotional connection and ignore that that house would now be worth quite literally millions of dollars), takes us through all the rooms we remember so well, and settles on that living room we all spent so many nights in together so long ago. There's a pup sitting there, excitedly anticipating the arrival of the Tanners (there are about a million '90s kids who so feel you right now, little guy). He looks like he might be a descendant of Comet (and he'd better be), but that's the only slightly familiar face we see.
Instead, we hear voices — DJ is moving in with the help of Uncle Joey (who delivers the iconic "Cut. It. Out." line), Aunt Becky, Uncle Jesse, and the rest of the group. And just that as the door is about to open, it's over. And all we're left with is the sweet sound of "The House That Built Me" by Miranda Lambert (the house that built us all, amirite?). And while I don't even like country music, I definitely have something in my eye right now. And my mascara is running because I put it on that way, OK? It's a thing. Leave me alone ... so I can watch the trailer again.
