All The Looks From The 'Star Wars' Red Carpet

When it comes to 2015 movie premieres, Hollywood definitely saved the best and biggest for last. The much anticipated red carpet premiere of Star Wars: The Force Awakens finally happened tonight and it brought out several cast members past and present, human and android, from the ultimate film franchise. The movie's stars such as Lupita Nyong'o, Daisy Ridley, and John Boyega arrived in style on the red carpet, where they were joined by original Star Wars cast members Carrie Fisher, Harrison Ford, and Mark Hamill.

Hollywood Boulevard was shut down for the red carpet premiere, which rivaled that of the Academy Awards. Dozens of fans waited in line — some of them even camped out for days — to cheer on and get a glimpse of their favorite Star Wars celebrities as well as A-list guests including Elizabeth Banks, Zendaya, and Joseph Gordon-Levitt (who dressed up as Yoda). Also in attendance was Scream Queens breakout star Billie Lourd, who co-stars in the movie alongside her mother Carrie Fisher.

The glamorous fashions of the L.A. premiere of The Force Awakens certainly didn't disappoint, including red carpet fave Lupita Nyong'o in a galactic silver dress by Alexandre Vauthier. Also making their major red carpet debuts were Ridley and Lourd, who wore Grecian white and bold stripes, respectively. Fisher, whose Star Wars character Princess Leia is a style icon (thanks to her signature bun hairstyle), dressed for the windy night in a blazer over a velvet blue dress.
