Joy to the world. Jennifer Lawrence wore white Dior to the Joy premiere because duh! J. Law is a Dior spokesmodel, so she wears the brand's dazzling dresses for pretty much nine out of 10 red carpet appearances. Her relationship with Dior means she gets to model its wares (or "wears") at all major events. Not a bad problem to have! The actress' long, snow-hued slip dress matched her white hot lob, which she wore with a deep side part and soft bend.
The dress, worn to the NYC premiere, was deceptively simple. There wasn't much in the way of frills or details, but it was classic. Sometimes, opting for something classy and low-key makes all the difference.
After her November The Hunger Games promo tour, which saw her rocking caramel lips, a deep, berry-stained lip while baring her bra, and screen siren red lips with a cream-colored Dior dress, J. Law went a more streamlined route but she remained as fashionable as ever. Her dress was anything but boring despite its simplicity, since Dior is never, ever a fashion snooze.
This Dior dress had a deep V and a peek-a-boo keyhole and a small yet flowing train. While Lawrence was wearing the frock in December, it could be the perfect late summer, garden wedding dress. #Really.
This is J. Law doing Marilyn Monroe, minus a red lip, of course.
The dress skimmed her curves. Her dark mani added a little pop.
It was oh-so-elegant from the side.
Her soft makeup fell right in line with her simple dress. She rocked some icy and winter-appropriate shimmer on her eyes.
What a sexy pose, right?
The dress was also back-baring and dipped low.
Once again, J. Law destroyed a red carpet with her flawless dress choice.
Here's her most recent, "other" white dress.
Lawrence paired a white, long-sleeved, and belt mini with black booties. It was quite the contrast but also edgy.
The actress also wore a clingy, off-the-shoulder mini while out and about.
Want to copy J. Law's red carpet gown IRL? Well, it's actually not that hard. These are two similar options at very different price points. So take your pick.
J. Crew offers the Brianna gown in ivory. It's wedding-ish and very similar to J. Law's frock. ($450, jcrew.com)
This cream-colored, criss-crossed collar maxi is mostly similar and much more affordable. ($68, lulus.com)
Isn't it amaze when J. Law's red carpet style translates on the real girl level?
