The Khloe/Lamar Debate Is Back On 'KUWTK'
It may have been years since Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom initially decided to divorce, but anyone who's been paying attention to their split knows it hasn't been that easy. On this week's episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, Khloe struggles with moving on from Lamar — and this is before Khloe started to help care for Lamar through his recent hospitalization. So how complicated can things get? Pretty darn complicated, especially once Kris Jenner gets involved.
In the beginning of the ep, Khloe explains how hard it's been for her to just forget about someone she thought she was spending the rest of her life with, and that's why the lines have always been so murky for them, even though they're not together anymore. The good news? It seems like she's finally decided that she's ready to move past it. The bad news? Lamar isn't giving up that easily, and whether or not he actually wants Khloe back, he's still trying to stay in touch with her family, and it's giving Khloe some serious anxiety. Like, the kind that makes her puke, she's so stressed out.
But think about it this way: If your ex kept trying to be BFF with your mom, it would probably stress you out too. Or at least, that's definitely how I would feel.
And since she's always sticking up for her sisters, it's not surprising at all that Kim speaks up right away to let Kris know she's not doing the right thing by keeping Lamar in their lives when Khloe's trying to move on. I get where Kris is coming from, since she doesn't want to neglect someone who was once a part of her family, but Khloe's her kid, not Lamar, and if Khloe's uncomfortable with it, it would probably make her moving on process a lot easier if Lamar didn't keep showing up on Kris' FaceTime.
Fortunately, Khloe's just doing her, and in this episode, that means hanging out with baby tigers at an animal rescue. If that was an option for all of us when we're having a bad day, the world would definitely be a better place.
