Kim K Reveals Son's Name & It's Epic

Two days after nearly breaking the Internet with the birth of her and Kanye West's son, Kim Kardashian has revealed the baby's name. And it's both not what you may expect and soooo her. Drumroll please ... His name is Saint West. See what I mean? While we were all over here guessing names like "Kanye Jr." and "Yeezus" and "Jesus" and "South," they were over there (in Calabasas, duh) choosing a name that is both unexpected and TOTALLY on brand.

"Saint" brings up the idea of religion (like Yeezus) and fashion (as in Yves Saint Laurent). It's so them that I can't even stand it. It's egotistical, sure. I mean, Saint West? It's basically Kanye calling himself a saint. But it's egotistical in a way that's a bit more subtle that just naming the baby "God" or "Kanye West West." And it's definitely going to grow on each and every one of us, just like the name "North West" did.

Kardashian's announcement was VERY brief. Just a picture of four emoji on her website — one representing each Kardashian-West family member — and the words "Saint West. 12.05.15. 8 pounds, 1 ounce." Which leaves me with a question: Does this baby have a middle name? I know that North doesn't, but there was a rumor going around that Kardashian was going to give her son the middle name "Robert," after her late father. "Saint Robert West." Sounds pretty good to me!

Ya see, I'm already starting to get used to this whole thing.
