The Weeknd's VS Show Performance Was Awesome

If you turned on a radio at any point in 2015, you can't deny that The Weeknd has had a huge year, and he's ending it in a pretty impressive way. That's right, The Weeknd performed at the 2015 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, an honor reserved for the some of the biggest names in music every December. Of course, the 25-year-old isn't new to the business, since his latest album isn't his first, but his career has definitely blown up since he supplied a song to Fifty Shades of Grey's soundtrack earlier this year, and from there, the musician has become a staple in Top 40 radio.

And, on Tuesday night, The Weeknd performed one of his most recent singles, and it was the perfect background music to the most fun fashion show of the year.

The man also known as Abel Tesfaye kicked off the fashion show with the first performance after the opening with his single, "In The Night," surrounded by smoky effects, video visuals behind him, and plenty of VS Angels, of course. Also, it's definitely worth noting how coordinated these women are that they were able to navigate around him as he sung from the center of the runway. Plenty of the ladies were dancing and singing along as they walked, and not one of them tripped. That's an accomplishment in and of itself!

If you were feeling The Weeknd's performance, there's even more good news: He dropped the music video for the song Tuesday, too — pretty convenient timing, right? He's having a pretty good week, and the VS Fashion Show is just the icing on the cake.
