The One Name Kimye Should Consider

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's liberal enthusiasm for exotic names have led to rumors that they might name their kid anything from South West to Easton West. Just as they did with their first child, Kimye has struggled to choose a name, although a source close to the pair told Hollywood Life , “one thing they have agreed on is that they do not want it to be a normal name or spelling. They are going to add to the celebrity baby name database and make it as unique and different as possible.” But, perhaps the most perfect name choice for baby Yeezus number two might be the one that's hardest to think about: Robert, after Kardashian's father, who passed away in the fall of 2003 when Kardashian was just 23 years old. Update: Kim announced on her website that the Kimye baby is named Saint West.

Robert "Bob" Kardashian, who is best known for his role in O.J. Simpson's landmark legal victory, died eight weeks after being diagonosed with esophageal cancer. While the public spotlight has fallen squarely on the K-named members of the family in the years since the lawyer's passing, Kardashian fans will get a closer look at Robert's life in the upcoming FX series, American Crime Story: The People v OJ Simpson , which will star David Schwimmer as Robert Kardashian, Selma Blair as Kris Jenner, John Travolta as defense attorney Robert Shapiro and Cuba Gooding Jr. as OJ.

The Kardashian family has been vocal about coming to terms with the difficult loss throughout KUWTK, which is why naming baby number two after Robert would be a great tribute to the late patriarch of the family. Given their closeness, it would make sense for Kim to name her son after her beloved father, particularly given that none of the other Kardashian grandchildren have been bestowed the family name.
