Artists React To Their Grammy Nominations

With the unveiling of the 2016 Grammy nominations on the morning of Monday, Dec. 7, artists immediately took to social media in droves to share their overwhelming honor, gratitude, and insane excitement for both themselves and their fellow music industry nominees. It pretty much goes without saying that celebrity reactions to the Grammy nominees are the best part about the nods — you know, save for your faves being nominated and all — just because it's so damn heartwarming to see stars freak the freak out at this huge career accomplishment. You know what they say: It's an honor just to be nominated, right? Well, it seems celebs agree because they cannot contain their excitement.

Some of the repeat names across the biggest categories include Taylor Swift (Album of the Year, Record of the Year, Song of the Year, just to name a few), Ed Sheeran (who will also be duking it out against his bestie for Album, Record, and Song of the Year), Kendrick Lamar (who is up for a whopping 11 nominations), The Weeknd (who cleaned up in everything from Album of the Year to Best R&B song to Best Pop Solo Song to Record of the Year), Charlie Puth (along with his "Marvin Gaye" collaborator and AMAs makeout partner Meghan Trainor), and my boy James Bay, who is up for Best New Artist, Best Rock Song, and Best Album.
