A burgeoning fashion darling just provided an assist to a fashion icon. Gigi Hadid and Donatella Versace had Instagram moments, as Versace finally signed up for an account. The rising supermodel posed with the legendary designer in her first posts on her newly-launched feed. Hadid even noted that it was her honor to be featured in Versace's debut posts when she joined the photo-sharing service.
So if you throw Versace an IG follow, expect your feed to be a bit more fabulous and fashionable as she starts sharing images of her life and her brand.
While Taylor Swift and Karlie Kloss have always twinned and offered a glimpse into their fabulous BFFdom in Insta snaps, Hadid and Versace posing and pouting is a bit different, since they are from different generations yet look like kindred spirits.
Perhaps Hadid, whose is hotter than a million suns right now with her recent naked Stuart Weitzman ad and whose name is becoming even more and more recognized for her new romance with former One Direction member Zayn Malik, will be the next official face of Versace? You never know, since the brand does love blondes, with Madonna and Lady Gaga featured in campaigns in recent years.
Hadid and Versace christened the designer's feed with an aerial, air kiss selfie because of course they did!!!
Two things of note here? Hadid is rocking that multi-colored print ensemble and Versace is slaying those black boots. Hadid reposted the pic and captioned it in the most adorbs way, writing: "Welcoming a true icon and mentor, my love @donatella_versace, to Instagram! Honored to be your first post ;) Missing you."
Could these two be any cuter? The nude-lipped, pouty selfie is a staple social media pose and Versace already has it down pat. I am not sure that I could handle anymore on-set snaps from these lovely ladies of the fashion world. High fashion isn't normally cute, but Hadid and Versace brought it back down to (the snow-covered) earth a little bit in these images.
Miss Versace, I am glad you finally hopped aboard the Insta train. Keep posting, please and thank you.
