The holiday season can be an emotional time, but I didn't realize Christmas decorations could make someone bawl. Don't get me wrong, I love to decorate for the holidays and I think it makes for beautiful decor, but it's never brought me to tears. However, that can't be said for Meghan Trainor who cried over Christmas decorations and lights put up by her brother. Apparently, he surprised her with the festive decorations and she couldn't contain her excitement.
On Thursday, Trainor shared a video on Instagram of herself crying heavily because she was overjoyed with her brother's surprise. In the video she says (through lots of tears), "It's so pretty!" She captioned the video: "I have the best big brother in the world. @ryan.trainor surprised me with crazy Christmas decorations because he knows I'm obsessed with Christmas and lights."
And here I thought the best way to spread Christmas cheer is singing loud for all to hear. Thanks for the misinformation, Buddy the Elf.
Anyways, after watching the video, I couldn't help but think of that time Kristen Bell cried over that sloth her husband Dax Shepard surprised her with on her birthday. You know, sometimes surprises are just so good that they can make you cry tears of joy.
I don't know about you, but I'm capable of crying over a great surprise. For example, if someone surprised me with a Tom Hiddleston cardboard cutout, I'd probably lose it. However, if they showed up with the actual Tom Hiddleston, I would react just like Trainor and Bell.
